Depending on the swell, this place can be paradise or hell. The day this particular shot was captured, a storm was brewing out to sea which made entry and exit quite a task with the increasing swell size. Later in the afternoon rescues had to be carried out by boat to retreive returning divers as exit from the beach was impossible( 5-6 feet waves breaking on beach)

A volcano eruption in 1963 has left a black, rocky beach. If you have a big camera, it is a definate MUST to have guide to help you with your diving.
