Every winter a group of female bullsharks come to this area to give birth  season goes from November untill mid march.

This reef is located approx. 8 miles south from Osprey reef in the Coral Sea. 330 km northeast from Cairns, Queensland. It lies some 125 km east from the Great Barrier Reef and 220 km due east from Queensland's Cape Melville. It is the northernmost reef on the Coral Sea Shelf (Queensland Plateau).
Observation of ours will report schools of fusiliers, banner fish, moorish idols, and a plethera of macro photo opportunites. Clown fish, turtles, also sighted were large Silver Tips and smaller Black tip sharks. Plenty of table corals, and slopes with coral out croppings. Also sighted, stone fish and flashlight fish. Current can be a problem at this reef, as one of our dives was aborted because of the current.
