Due to recent surgery, my husband/dive buddy Jim didn't dive on this trip to Little Cayman, so I took his D300 down and had a blast with it. This Queen Triggerfish was aggressively guarding its eggs, so it was easy to shoot a close-up.
Another view of the Hairy Crab seen on my night dive in Grand Cayman. I had to practically crawl into his crevice to get a decent view. I stuck my hand in a sea urchin during the process, but I got a decent view.

a secret world
The fish in this photo is a Smooth Trunkfish. The size of this fish is about the size of a pea. I found that this fish kind of buzz's around the reef like a bee. This photo was taken at Santa Rosa Wall in Cozumel.
Flamingo Tongue seen in Grand Cayman August 2008. Photo taken with a Canon SD550.
Close up shot of a Turtle
Wendy photographing a Sunken Destroyer in Cayman Brac.

Diamond Blenny seen in Grand Cayman. Photo taken with a Canon SD550.
This photo is a common sight when diving on the walls in Cozumel. This is a Trumpet Sponge cluster. I used my DC500, two storbes and wide angle lens to capture this photo.

This photo of a juv. French Angelfish was taken while diving at Paradise Reef in Cozumel. Before reaching the main reef we made our way thru turtle grass and small sponge beds. This particular dive was a 90 minute dive. Lots to see!
