"Sunburst Stingrays!"
Over-Under at Stingray Sandbar
No Photoshop
Amazing portrait session with the most beautiful model
I took this picture with my gopro hero 4. Didn't realize it's awesomeness until looking through my pics later that night. What's amazing is that the beach this was taken at (Trunk Bay, St John, USVI) was very crowded, so I was lucky.
'Head In The Clouds' - A squid swims by in shallow water as rain clouds form overhead in Grand Cayman
Sharpnose Puffer (Canthigaster rostrata)
'Life In The Slow Lane' - A flamingo tongue cowrie in the waters off of Grand Cayman
Pillar Corals - BVI - Normand Island - The Indians
Diver and elephant ear sponge. I like this version with the legs apart. For me, the split legs add a sort of whimsy to the photo, like the diver is in flight. Plus, rules are made to be broken. wink
Wire Coral Shrimp
Red Snapping Shrimp (Alpheus armatus)
gammaridean amphipod on a solitary gorgonian
Slender Filefish (Monacanthus tuckeri)
"Spring Cleaning!"
A banded jawfish expels sand from its mouth as it clears out a new burrow. It will take the jawfish up to eight hours to create the home.
Small frogfish fishing for dinner
Fabellina
We would see these beautiful banded tube dwelling anemones at the start and end of all our night dives at Sunset House in Grand Cayman.
French Angelfish - BVI
Juvenile French angelfish (Pomacanthus paru)
Blenny face, Klein Bonaire
Bimini, Hammerhead Dive, Neil Watson #Hammerhead #Bimini #Neil Watson
Secretary Blenny (Acanthemblemaria maria)
decorator crab
"Old Wise Man"
A Loggerhead Turtle making some friendly fly-bys.
"The Meadow"
The bluff wall in Pedro's Bay is literally covered with life. Lots of ambient light and waves breaking overhead make for a very exciting dive.
Squid City
Hammerhead sharks in The Bahamas. Shot this amazing animals with my nikon d800, ikelite housing. There is nothing better than the clystar clear water in the caribbean, but in Bimini that is something else.
As for the hammerheads I'm speechles
