Inside the bay is mostly sand bottom that disappears quickly into the depths and have little to no entertainment value unless your into macro. The best dive must be walls. REMEMBER ... Be very careful not to swim too far out of the creek, as the current here can be quite strong. (It would have been the more a shame to return to Newcastle before the dive is over.

Easy dive site, just off the jetty at Gulen Dive Resort (www.divegulen.com). Lots of nudibranchs and other macro life, especially at night. Even sharks and octopi turn up sometimes. Excellent site, one of my favourites.

ww2 wreck "albert janus" resting at 220 feet. Here you will find big lings, catfish and shoals of redfish + alot of small things. wreck is in good condition.
