Turkey Underwater Photo Sites (9)
This is a popular shore dive site. During they day there is not much life to be seen and it is used mainly as a training site because of a small protected rocky bay, easy entry and exit, and fair visibility. However, if you can find a Turkish guide to take you at night (required by Turkish law), then you are bound to see lots of interesting life. The dive starts in a rocky bowl, and you can go out to a mini wall that drops to a sandy bottom. We have seen large squid, octopi, flatworms, various nudibranchs, sleeping fish, multiple crabs, Spanish lobster, anemones, etc... Depths range from 8 feet to 50 feet. There is a small dive facility at White Cliffs, but I have never used it.

The Cable Wreck is at the west end of Dana Island. The frieghtor hit an underwater promontory. You can swim around the promontory and also see the remains of ancient artifacts, pottery, on the other side. The dive is deep, but the promontory comes within a few feet of the surface which makes for a pleasant safety stop.

A nice dive site with colourful underwater scenes... For macro, you may see variety of nudis, for wide angle, red sponges, some tiny corals, interesting rocky formations painted with red spongy organisms.

The place is developed by Active Blue Dive Center which is quite professinal diving center with very good educated staff. The place could offer diferent depth divings, you could find many of the aegean spicies. You could also see the proto corals, aincient remainings, hot water underwater springs etc.
