Spotted cleaner shrimp on an anemone. These 2 creatures have a symbiotic relationship  where the shrimp provides parasite removal services and the anemone protects the shrimp from predators.

This pod of sperm whale were asleep  out of the blue around 50 pilot whales suddenly appeared and began making noise and generally harassing them.  taken under permit

How Hot is this Dive Site? click a star to rate it
The dive site consists of two large boulder rocks placed side by side. In the narrow gap between them you can find Hinge-Beak Shrimp and Cleaner Pipefish (Dunckerocampus janssi). The visibility can be poor here so it's really a site for small macro critters. I doesn't take long to go around the rocks, so if you want you can head West and cross over to the "Shark Point" dive site. Sea temp in May is 29c
