This Russian T34 tank was created as a diving attraction to relieve pressure on the surrounding dive sites. In addition the tank in the picture can no longer cause any damage or suffering but it is a great photo opportunity.

Its a lovely wreck to dive with some very interesting features. Water normally cold when the visibility is good. I have been diving it in a wet-suite for a long time, but most others prefer to wear dry-suites. Best chance for conditions to be good, is during the summer months in Cape Town.

~ Helping Hand ~ Diver descending on the wreck of the Boss 400. The ship wrecked at Duiker point, close to Sandy Bay, after the tow rope snapped. Part of the ship still protrude above the waterline and that is what is visible in the background.
