Santa Barbara Janolus at Monterey Wharf 2. We have been seeing these up here the last bunch of years in the fall. They used to not be this far north.

MEETING WITH BIG SPERMWALE TRAPPED IN THE NETS. I, my wife and our u/w team found a big spermwhale caught in an illegal drift net used to catch marlin. The sperm whale was still breathing! Nikonos + 15mm natural light.
