Thuridilla hopei. Often mistaken for a nudibranch it is a sacoglossal opisthobranch without dorsal appendages. It can only be spotted with a keen eye on the rocky seabed a few meters deep. Rarely exceeds 2cm in length.

Windsock is near the airport and is one of the easiest shore dive entries/exits in Bonaire. Park on the road near the jetty where the tugs sometimes tie up. There is a cut in the rocks (which are very small anyway), and you can just walk in and out over a fairly smooth sandy bottom. Distance to drop off is not long. Some interesting pictures can be obtained around the jetty and there is macro life throughout the dive. This is the site where I found an apparently rare (and even more rarely photographed), swollen claw mantis shrimp.
