Spotting the red scorpionfish

Diver finds a red scorpionfish at the entrance of its cave with his torch. Nikon D90  10.5mm  ISO 200  f/16  1/25s. Ikelite housing and dual DS51 strobes.

One of my once-in-a-lifetime experiences was this encounter with an animal that not shark nor ray, but in a biological class of it's own. The fact that I had such a magic encounter is something I will never take for granted.
