Montague Island is situated about 9km offshore from Narooma. Couple of operators leave Narooma to go out to Montague Island. The reason to dive here is to dive with the Australian Fur Seals. They're here all year round, but are most abundant in Spring. It isn't considered a breeding colony at present but more pups are being born each year.
