What splendid eyes these little gobies have  They hide in small crevices in rocks. They are shy but curious and it is easy to photograph them when they lean out to scrutinize the external environment. Havelock Is._April2024

Wide Open I had the camera on the end of a pole for this one. After many failed attempts and near misses, everything aligned - I got the right shark, the right angle, the right camera depth, and the right timing - and I ended up with this beauty.

Curiosity This young white shark was incredibly curious about my camera in the water. Every pass it made it came up and gaped in front of it, trying to grab it in it's mouth to figure out what my camera was.
