Ridge of rock from -3m to -15m around a muddy bottom. Special license needed from the Setubal harbor authority. Diving is only possible during the turn of the tide and rarely exceeding 60 minutes bottom time due to the strong current. The ridge if covered with large colonies of ascideans and sea fans. The muddy bottom is ideal to find many sea slugs but a very good buoancy is required. Shore diving is possible from the Albarquel beach but there are no dive centers in that place.
