Ledges of Little St. James

   Virgin Islands U.S.  Caribbean Sea
Series of ledges with colorful coral and sponges growing on top and underneath. The Orange Cup Coral under the ledges is often open during the day. Schools of grunts, lobsters, and an occasional nurse shark are common sights.

French Cap is one of the best dives in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is a small uninhabited island that lies south of St. John Island. The visibility is always excellent and a great site to see reef sharks. There can be rough seas and strong currents, so it is only possible to dive there on very calm days.
