Getting familiar with the Clip tray

A File Import button

Click this button to collect clips from your hard disk and/or external media via the "Import" dialog box.

B Clip palette

The Clip palette lists collected clips.

Still image files:

A thumbnail image and a file name are displayed for each still image file.

Movie files:

A thumbnail image, a file name, and the playing time are displayed for each movie file.

Sound files:

A thumbnail (default) image of sound files, a file name, and playing time are displayed for each sound file.

Hint

To remove a clip from the Clip tray, drag it from the Clip tray and drop it in the Trash in the MovieShaker window. This only removes the clip from the Clip tray; it does not delete the original file.
