Movie, still image, or sound files from the hard disk on your
computer and/or external media, can be collected as clips. For
further information, see To collect a
clip from files.

You can also capture images directly from the MICROMV
device connected to your computer, and import them into the Clip
tray. For further information, see Collecting
clips from MICROMV devices.

You cannot use a MICROMV device with MovieShaker preinstalled on your
computer. If you wish to use a MICROMV device, see To
use a MICROMV device.

Before capturing, connect the DV device to your computer and turn on
the power of the DV device. For further information about connecting
DV devices, see the Operating Instructions or the online manual that
came with your computer.
