Getting familiar with the Capture tray

A Shake tab

Click this tab to display the Shake tray.

When you click the tab, it is highlighted, and the Shake tray appears.

B Capture tab

Click this tab to display the Capture tray.

When you click the tab, it is highlighted, and the Capture tray appears.

C Edit tab

Click this tab to display the Edit tray.

When you click the tab, it is highlighted, and the Edit tray appears.

D Monitor

The monitor is where you can view images being played back on an external device.

E HDD remaining space indicator

This indicates the amount of space remaining on the hard disk to which captured files are saved. If the remaining space becomes less than 50 MB, this indicator turns red.

F Status indicator

This indicator displays the status of an external device (e.g., connected/disconnected, with/without tapes, operating status), and the tape counter.

G Capture button/Stop Capture button

Click this button to start/stop capturing.

H Play control buttons

These buttons control the external device connected to your computer.

: Rewinds the videotape.

: Stops the videotape.

: Starts playing the videotape.

: Pauses playing the videotape.

: Fast-forwards the videotape.

I Full screen preview monitor

Click this button to view images being played back on an external device in the Full screen monitor.
