Select "Setting" from the "Edit" menu on the Menu bar.
The "Setting" dialog
box appears.
The following items are displayed:
"Location to store files" tab
-
Location to store the captured
file: Set the destination folder for saving the files captured
from external devices.
-
Location to store the temporary
file: Set the destination folder for saving the files
temporarily created when the final movie product is exported
to an external device.
-
Location to store the recorded
file: Set the destination folder for saving the sound files
recorded via Microphone, Line
In, etc.
Note
Be sure to save captured files
and temporary files on a drive (e.g., D drive) other than the drive
on which the Windows operating system is installed. Otherwise, lost
frames may occur while capturing, or frame
duplication may occur while exporting files.
"Capture from DV device" tab
-
File Division during Capture: Click
to select this check box to divide files to be saved, at the
recording start points, during capturing images from a DV
device.
-
Audio output while playing image
from external device: Click to select this check box if you do
not want to output the sound of the image from the computer while
capturing. Note that even if you capture images with this check box
selected, sound is still recorded in the captured files.
-
Monitor Display Resolution: Set
the screen resolution of the movie file displayed on the Capture
tray monitor. Select the resolution (decoding resolution) from
"Low Resolution," "Medium Resolution," or
"High Resolution." Depending on your computer, this setting
may not be available.
Hint
If you experience lost frames,
select a lower screen resolution.
