Placing clips to make a movie

Select movie, still image, and sound files from the Clip tray and place them onto the Product tray to create your own movie. You can add an effect (transition) between scenes placed on the Product tray.

On the Product tray, you will find the Storyboard Display and the Timeline Display.

Storyboard Display

The Storyboard allows you to easily place scenes and transitions. Thumbnail images of the scenes and transition icons are displayed where they are placed, so that you can visually place them onto the Storyboard. This makes it easier to create a movie because you can see its overall flow.

Timeline Display

The Timeline allows you to place scenes, transitions, BGM, and narrations. You can adjust the starting/ending points and duration of placed scenes, transitions, BGM, and narrations. You can also perform detailed editing by zooming the Timeline.

Hint

If the Storyboard is displayed, clicking (the Timeline tab) switches to display the Timeline. If the Timeline is displayed, clicking (the Storyboard tab) switches to display the Storyboard.
