To insert a narration into a movie
By inserting your own narrations, such as explanations or comments,
etc., you can make your movie even more effective.
Use the Timeline to insert a narration into a movie. For further
information about switching between the Storyboard Display and the
Timeline Display, see Placing clips to
make a movie.

Move the Timeline knob to the point where narration is to begin.

Click the "Narration" button.
The Narration tray appears.

Select the input device from the drop-down list.
The items shown on the list
differ depending on your computer.

Set the Recording level by dragging the Recording level setting slider.

Click the "Start Recording" button, and begin recording the
narration from the input device.
Recording begins, and the elapsed
recording time is displayed.

Click the "Stop Recording" button.
Recording stops.
The narration is added to the
Narration track, and the recorded narration is inserted into the movie.
To rearrange the order of narrations
You can rearrange the order of narrations on the Timeline by dragging
and dropping them.
As you drag a narration over the Narration track, a vertical marker
appears to indicate placement. Use this indication to guide placement.
To remove a narration
To remove a narration from the Timeline, drag and drop it in the
Trash in the MovieShaker window. You can also remove a narration by
clicking it and pressing the Delete key.
