Getting familiar with the Text tray

The Text tray is used for creating a text effect to be applied to a scene.

A Text preview monitor

The Text preview monitor is where you can preview a text effect you create.

B Text Setting button

Click this button to display the "Text Setting" dialog box. You can enter text, change the font, etc.

C Text effect

Click any text effect to view how it will appear on the Text preview monitor. To apply a text effect to a scene, drag it from the Text tray and drop it on the Edit tray monitor or the Effect palette. You can also double-click the text effect to apply the text effect to a scene.
