To change the volume or playback speed of a scene

You can change the volume and/or playback speed of a scene, a piece of BGM, or a narration displayed on the Edit tray monitor.

Use these functions to balance the volume between scenes, or to change the playback speed of a scene.

To adjust the volume (for a sound and a movie file)

You can change the volume or set fade-in/fade-out for a scene, a piece of BGM, or a narration displayed on the monitor.

  1. Move the Volume control slider to the left or right to adjust the volume.

Moving the Volume control slider to the left turns the volume down, and moving it to the right turns it up.

  2. If you want to set the volume of a scene, a piece of BGM, or a narration to fade in, click (the fade-in check box) to select it.

This causes the volume to fade in.

  3. If you want to set the volume of a scene, a piece of BGM, or a narration to fade out, click (the fade-out check box) to select it.

This causes the volume to fade out.

Note

If a scene without sound is displayed on the Edit tray, or more than one scene is selected from the Product tray, you cannot adjust the volume or set fade-in/fade-out.

To adjust the playback speed (for a sound, a movie, and a still image file)

You can speed up or slow down the playback speed of a scene, a piece of BGM, or a narration displayed on the Edit tray monitor.

  1. Move the Speed control slider to the left or right to adjust the playback speed.

Moving the Speed control slider to the left slows down the playback speed, and moving it to the right speeds it up.

Note

If more than one scene is selected from the Product tray, you cannot adjust the playback speed.
