Menu reference
File menu
New Project
Creates an empty project
file and displays it.
Open Project
Opens and displays a previously saved project file.
Save Project
Saves the current project file, overwriting the previous contents of
this file.
Save Project As
Saves the current project file as a new project file.
Exit
Closes MovieShaker.
Edit menu
Used to change settings for capturing
images from a DV device
(e.g., the destination folders for captured files, the screen resolution
to capture files, etc.).
You can also use this menu item to enable or disable the following settings:

To show the pop-up window

To enable the sound effects
-
To confirm the videotape is loaded or not before exporting a movie to
a DV device

To reduce the process time for shaking clips
-
To show the confirmation message before deleting clips, scenes, etc.
Device menu
Selects the device you wish to capture from or export to.
Note
Depending on your computer, the "Device" menu may not be
displayed. When the "Device" menu is not displayed, the DV
device is only connected.
DV Device
Used to capture from or export to a DV device compliant with i.LINK.
MICROMV Device
Used to capture from or export to a MICROMV
device compliant with i.LINK.
View menu
Selects the Normal Mode or the Shake Mode.
Normal Mode
This is the Original Mode. You can use this mode to trim
and to add effects.
Shake Mode
This is the mode used to export only shaken movie products. It allows
you to easily export movie products of approximately 30 seconds long.
Note that you cannot insert effects or transitions,
or perform trimming. Additionally, you cannot view the index
recorded on a videotape or use the "Scan,"
"Batch Capture,"
and "Dubbing"
functions.
