When running MovieShaker

I can only play a final movie product; I cannot process it.

If more than one scene is selected from the Product tray, you cannot process them. Sequential scenes and their transitions only can be previewed for the purpose of observing the flow from scene to scene.

Importing an exported movie product does not place its scenes in the Product tray.

When an exported movie product is placed on the Clip tray, it is handled as a single clip. Thus its scenes and BGM are not displayed on the Product tray, as they were when movie making was in progress.

It takes a long time to export a final movie product.

Exporting a final movie product to a file or to an external device is time-consuming to complete. The "DV-AVI" or "Export to DV device" option takes a particularly long time. The "MICROMV" or "Export to MICROMV device" option takes even more time to complete.

Note

You cannot use a MICROMV device with MovieShaker preinstalled on your computer. If you wish to use a MICROMV device, see To use a MICROMV device.

When uploading to ImageStation

Note

The communication lines may not be in good condition, or are busy. Connect to the server when the line is less congested.

Cannot connect to the network.

See the Operating Instructions or the online manual that came with your computer.

Errors occurred on the server.

Try to upload the final movie product from the Web site.

Cannot stop the transmission.

When "Waiting for the response from the site" appears, the final movie product has already been uploaded on ImageStation and you cannot cancel it. If uploading is completed for a movie product that needs to be deleted, perform deletion from the Web site.
