Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Leaf Fish with Protruding mouth.
We happened upon this leaf fish where we I happened to change over to full manual. When he open his mouth the second time I happened to be focused and ready to take a picture. To my surprise it came out beutifully.
Parrotfish chomping on coral.
Trigger fish, as it came by. Moving cam and delayed flash.
Flying Gurnard Wingspan

Tiny cuttlefish, just the size of a pea playing on the algae in a shallow bay.
Dancing Fish. D2x 50mm Kimbe, Bay. PNG

Spanish Dancer in flight
Leopard shark, off on a hunt at Phi Phi Island!
Blue ring octopuss. It was our last dive in PNG and my both strobes failed before seeing it. I had to go up, borrow another set and go down again hoping to find him again. He was very kind though and waited for me.
Zeus faber. This is one of the strangest fishes living in this area. It's normally in depths more than 40 meter, but at certain places here in Gran Canaria sometimes we can see it by night at only 15 meter or less.
Clown fish in 2m of water, 105mm with twin flash guns.
Pygmy seahorse! Cool disguise or what!
Spotted Eagle Cruisin in the shallow grass beds in Duck Key. I took this just wading in about 3 ft of water with no flash... I love the way the sun shines in through the water.
Scorpion Fish Face. This was taken in Key Largo straight away just a few feet from this dudes face with my HP R817 digital with housing and internal flash with diffuser.
Neon Fusilers at Sipadan just 5m below the surface.
Taken in Cozumel.
Great barrier reef, Australia
wat it looks like behind a wave.
