one night in a swimming pool with horrible visibility and one dead flashgun...
About 90% of this was lit from strobe positioning and 10% from Lightroom editing.
This is my world underwater; composing Galapagos shark, iridescent sponge- Bonaire, Meyers Butterfly-Palau, Bonaire Seahorse, Molly Miller -Sea of Cortez w/Sea lion there too, Green Moray, Turks & Caicos, Florida Keys background

Seahorse with Backlighting. Finally found one in the right position in the right surroundings for this type of shot, unfortunately alot of sediment in the water, so had to remove a fair amount of backscatter after the dive.

Found this guy in my backyard last night. Kinda looks like it's just snooted, but I used Lightroom's graduated filter to darken the corners a bit more.

Eyes Wide Shut
You see this all the time with human photos. First time for me with my fish buddies. Secretary blenny in a full-on blink. Inset shows next shot with eyes open. Then again... I guess maybe I see the point of closing those eyes! ...
