Coming out to play. This tiny juvenile two-spot octopus had taken refuge in an empty snail shell. Shot with a Canon Digital Rebel XT in ikelite housing with dual DS51 strobes. With a quarter-sized body, I had the lens just inches away for the shot.

Bit of a storm running so bouyancy iffy!!
When chased this Tasselled Anglerfish adopts a streamlined attitude with dorsal spines down, yet strangely with prominent lure (illicium).
As this Tasselled Anglerfish swims slowly by, it shows off all its fins and spines, maybe as a display to neighbouring anglerfish.
