Taken in Monterey California at San Carlos Beach, the conditions there can be challanging for photography (surge, low visibility, and beginning divers ) but it can be great for macro.

This was taken in a rock pool at dusk using torchlight to illuminate the subject as using a flash caused glare on the surface of the pool. This tiny nudibranch is clinging to the undersurface of the pool feeding and measured about .5cm length.
