My first Xeno Crab (Xenocarcinus tuberculatus) head close up. They appear to remove polyps from their host whip coral and attach the polyps on to their shell for camouflage. I'm amazed the polyps don't die...Canon G9 & Inon UCL-165 lenses, Full Frame

"Pustules" This is a very juvenile Egg Cowry (Ovula Ovum) less than 1cm - the pustules are to mimic foul tasting Nudibranchs. D200 60mm + 4 diopter but still had to crop into it to get the detail!

OK we've seen it all before but this is very clean. If this were 2005 (when shots of pygmies were rare) it could have been in contention fro medals. Just pointing out how tastes change with time...
