With this wet eagle, I had plenty of time to take pictures of it :-)

This eagle has certainly missed its prey and has been caught by a wave. It had to swim to reach the shore. It had no more energy to walk away from the water to dry its feathers. I rescued it using a woodstick to push it away from the waves.

Whilst testing a new zoom lens out at Bosham, Chichester Harbour I focussed on this duck, anticipating it taking off. I was amazed when it completely lost it's footing and went head first into the banking. The duck seemed fine and waddled away.

"BY - THE - WIND SAILOR" it's called this small ( about 4cm ), beautiful jellyfish ( lat. Velella velella ). Above water you can see the sail very well and you know why this jelly has that name.
