"Fin Up"
A large Triple Fin Blenny sitting on a sponge with nice texture.
"Out in the Open"
Not often do I see Secretary Blenny's away from their hole. This is the second time I have seen a Blenny in this exact spot with no hole in sight. I'm thinking it must be the same guy.
Rockpool blenny, NRAD, San Diego
"Clean Green"
A Green Moray gets a little cleaning session from a Cleaning Gobe.
The Red Army
A group of cleaner shrimps at cleaning station
Hymenocera picta
"Smile"
A Sailfin Blenny showing its teeth.
"Ooh, he swam in this direction..." ;-)
Up close and personal with the Giant Puffer Fish (Arothron stellatus)
"Bearded Face"
A Bearded Fire Worm posing for the camera.

Close up of a Blenny.

Who's There?
A small Cocos Barnacle Blenny peeks through a hole in the coral at Cocos Island, Costa Rica
"Hazy"
A Roughhead Blenny with a soft background. I really like how the wide aperture isolates these Blennys.

"Arrow Portrait"
A Redlined Arrow Crab sitting on a healthy patch of coral.
"Trapeze"
A Wire Coral Shrimp perched on a branch of wire coral with a deep blue background.
"Fuzzy"
I wanted to emphasize the bright color eyes of this Roughhead Blenny so I used a wide open f/stop to achieve a narrow focus on his eyes.
..
"In the Trenches"
It is rare to find an Octopus during the day. Generally when we see a pile of empty Conch Shells, we assume there is a hiding eight legger some where close. This one in particular had curled himself up into a tight ball just inside
Whiteface Waspfish....why so grumpy!?
labirynt
