Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
This IS a crab. A very well disguised decorator crab holding on to a peice of coral. I was checking out a nudi just above this bit of coral that MOVED. Never ceases to amaze me what we find in the sea. smile

I only got one shot of this Banded Boxer Shrimp with eggs. Original photo showed both claws (just) but i think this crop brings out the egss and the hairy arms slightly better. S-95 plus stacked 165's.

Explosion of Lionfish in the Caribbean are causing havoc for other reef fish. Problem solved when dive guide kills them and feeds to anemone.
