Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Ocellated wrasse - symphodus ocellatus. This guy was quite occupied in builing his nest when i came accross his way. He didn't like it to much, and kept on chasing me away !

I always find it fascinating how these shrimps match they're colouring to the feather stars! Is it chicken or egg i.e. does the shrimp look at itself and say - "I need to find a balck and white feather star" LOL

Xeno crab. One of the first comments I received for this photo was that this crab looks like a "dead monitor lizard's zombie". Go figure...
