Hydras are small fresh water predatory, from 1 mm to 20 mm. To biologists they are of interest because they appear to age slowly if at all, and also for their regenerative ability.
Amphiprion ocellaris - False clown Anemonefish (Clownfish)
"I hope the Clown with the camera leaves soon"
Puffball Sponge (Oceanapia sagittaria), a small sponge that is normally buried under sand/rubble. The stalk and puffball are sent up periodically for reproduction. The tendrils remind me of synapses in the brain.
Hippocampus bargibanti - Pygmy seahorse
Fishs
Pipefish taken with my Canon S70 with CloseUp Lens
found in Lembeh, D200
Crocodilefish. D200, 60mm.

Red Sea Walkmann taken with Canon S70 and CloseUp Lens
Resident moray at Seraya

Cuttlefish egg - even in the egg you can see that it has colour change cells activated, albeit only white for the moment!
You talkin' to me? Two Sailfin Blennies in what appears to be a territorial dispute.
A red Sea Horse... :O)...
The Mediterranean hermit crab Calcinus tubularisis is special, the female, occupies attached tubes, the male, occupies loose shells.
