Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

Tough to get a shot of these guys feeding but when they do I think it looks spectacular. Like little fishermen casting their nets. Shot with two strobes, next time I'm going to try side lighting to give some more depth.

Solitary Gorgonian Hydroid (Ralpharia gorgoniae) on Little Cayman. This is a fairly rare creature in the Caymans, and I was very fortunate for the divemaster to spot this specimen.
