I would like to think this an intimate protrait of this Clearfin lionfish. However, that was a defensive posture and the only thing I was going to get intimate with here were his spines....
Juv. Ballonfish, I love his almost crown of spines and the colour of his eyes. They always look like they belong in Japanese cartoons.

Found well hidden amongst the seaweed, this Seahorse was encountered on the wall in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez).

A couple of Batwing Slugs (Sagaminopteron ornamtum) from Esperance, Western Australia. Although, only 2cm, these cute little critters are good swimmers. If only I had known that when I found them!
