Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
You can see the feather star through this Ornate Ghost Pipefish, if you zoom in.

These are the color tips of a Giant Anemone
Crinoid shrimp. Canon 350, 50 mm macro and 2 x Woody. I always find it aazing how these shrimp take on the colours of the crinoids they live in

Swimming Crinoid (Analcidometra armata), about 2 cm. Weird little critter, looks like some kind of spider, except it has too many legs. Nikon D100 with 60mm lens.
