Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
This Club-Tipped Anemone has an abstract quality. They come in a variety of colours and patterns. Canon A70

The Last few pictures using my Canon A70 before it conked out on me. Setting was cloudy, vivid and macro and flash.

Taken in the Kerama's Island Chain in a location called three rocks. There were several stone fish using coral heads...this one was only about 2 inches long and I finally found a hole through the coral head to get a good shot.

Another small shrimp, Horned bumblebee shrimp (Phyllognathia ceratopthalmus), which feeds on starfish although somewhat rarer than my submission from yesterday, the Harlequin shrimp. This pair were living among sponges on a rocky outcrop.
