Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Taken at Mataking Island, East Malaysia
Eggs. These are eggs of the most common blennie of the Canary Islands. The fish itself isn't really beautyful at all, but the babies.....
Neck Crab, found on Bloody Bay Wall at 95 feet. This little fellow (3 cm) was almost impossible to see, with his bright red coloring almost gone at the depth I found him at. Nikon D70 with 60mm lens.
Watching eye To Eye

Cuttlefish Eggs with babies inside. Very macro Olympus 7070
"Lumpy" This nudi was in the shallow's at Tulumben, a great contrast to the black volcanic sand.
Young Scorpionfish lying vertically in wait.
This photo of a Flag Cabrilla was taken in Baja California Mexico, whilst trying out a makeshift handheld Macro Lens
These Chromodoris Kunei slugs are my 2nd favourites... Taken using Dawn's Canon S70 using manual exposure with an external YS60 strobe triggered by a Matthiau Heinrich adaptor.
Dardanus Arrosor with Calliactis Parasitica taken during a night dive in Bagnara Calabra, Italy
This shrimp was not a easy shot with my Olympus 7070 fitted whith all the lenses I had with me at the time (2 Inon + 1 Epoque) and full zoom.
snake eel
I beleive this is a Tuberculous Nudibranch. ~6" long 3" wide. Found at a depth of 35' North Shore Oahu, Hawaii. A first for me.
Caught in the act!! It almost made me feel dirty trying to get a shot of these Mating Nudibranch, in the Sea of Cortez, Baja California, Mexico
Look what I had for dinner!
Chromodoris taken at Sharksbay with Olympus E-300.
Balssia Gasti. A small shrimp (only 10-12 mm) that lives on yellow and red gorgonia and gets the same colour than its "home".
