Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

Past weekend I dived first time with my D200, and the results really don't look bad. Here's one example
WHO KNOWS WHAT THIS IS!!!looks like a piece of coral, but it's not, picture taken at 12meter, and the "thing"was moving like a seastar. when i came closer it moved back into a small cave. it moved with the 4 "legs".
