Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Image taken with Canon Pro1 housed in Ikelite case. Location was Steve's Bommie on the northern Great Barrier Reef on 8th September 2004. Shot was tough due to confined space, avoiding nearby coral, and waves churned overhead.

In Stockholm there is a very popular dive site called Björkvik. At night, when all the fishes come out, the underwater photographers are there. This is taken nighttime, in january, in 4 degrees celcius water. The fish is called "Simpa" in swedish.
