Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

A hairy crab (Pilumnus villosissimus) sitting on the foot of a anemone (Telmatacti cricoides). Recently this anemone disappeared from the place where I've seen it for about 10 years. Don't know why.

Stalactites and stalagmites in the Dos Ojos cave system in Yucatan, Mexico. Behind you see the sunlight coming through a sinkhole. Taken with strobe and wide angle.
