While I tried to capture a shot of these juvenile squids near to the diving platform, a curious guest is watching me and wonders what the heck I am doing there ;-) The lights on top are reflections of my strobe lights on water surface.

Patrol Boat 119 - I took this shot 13 minutes after this new shipwreck touched oceans ground. Lots of dirt & dust clouds....the ship's stern was totally covered by a sand cloud that time. Ambient light shot, converted to B/W.

A very close and "abstract" view into a giant clam ( Tridacna gigas ). As always : "mother nature" is the greatest artist ;-)

Juvenile Lion-Fish. It took me ages to get this shot....he always sticked with the reef. Finally, I catched the point where he came to the "open water". Was only for seconds, but it was enough ;-)

This small crab reminded me of some very old people who place a pillow on their window frame and just watching the road all day ;-)
Face to face with a small pepper muray eel ;-)

"Seahorse in danger" . NEVER DO THIS ! To my sitemod collegues : This is NOT my hand on the pic and the animal was NOT harmed in any way. ( I stopped my buddy in time...after my "de-briefing" to him, I don't think that he will ever try this again ).

Portrait of an Soldier-Fish
Piece of "art". This was exhibited during the kas underwater art exhibition in 2002. Several artists of different kinds placed their artwork underwater, where it was open to visit for snorclers and divers.
