When spotting a whip coral check the surface of the coral if there is a variation in texture. It will probably be a whip coral shrimp as they are perfectly camouflaged with the coral’s colour and polyp structure.Jan_2024

"Yellow Ray Fall" Stingrays often conceal themselves under sand, coral heads, or anything they can to hide from predators. This image used the fall aspen leaves to reference how they hide and the name of the animal: The Yellow Stingray.
The Great Hammerhead Shark is an amazing shark and unfortunately under human threat due to its large dorsal fin and the fin trade

A young diver awed by a photobombing shark. What a wonderful dive!

Two beautiful predators on the prowl in the Bahamas. We saw sharks on every dive in the Bahamas last week. Fantastic!
In the movie ‘Jaws’, the character Quint says, “The thing about a shark - it's got lifeless eyes, black eyes like a doll's eyes.” I don’t think so. This magnificent shark’s eyes look very alive, focused, and interested. Beautiful creatures!
A curious and playful Atlantic spotted dolphin (Stenella frontalis) comes in for a close eye to eye encounter. Canon EOS 5D3, 8-15mm fisheye shot at 12mm, Nauticam housing , Zen dome 230.
