When spotting a whip coral check the surface of the coral if there is a variation in texture. It will probably be a whip coral shrimp as they are perfectly camouflaged with the coral’s colour and polyp structure.Jan_2024

On my trip to Tobago last month I saw lots of filefish. I love their interesting shape and coloration. This one was taken with a Canon PowerShot SD 550.

This shot was taken in Tobago on June 24, 2007 with a Sony DSC-H9. I was standing on a bluff overlooking the bay. Later on that day I went snorkeling at the spot. Such a beautiful island with marvelous people!
