"A Darker Shade of Hammer" - scalloped hammerhead (Sphyrna lewini) just outside of Isla Manuelita, Cocos, Costa Rica; Nikon D70s in Ikelite, Nikkor 12-24mm in ambient light.
Swimming with Hammerheads...

after setting myself up on a ledge, hammerheads started passing by... I got ready for the opportunity to shot one as close as possible... this one started turning as I started taking pics... Nikon D300 Tokina 10-17 mm No flash
resting white tips are excelent for macro shots... I had to take my 105 mm during one of the Bajo Alcyone dives and give it a try... I like how the shark skin texture is detailed here... Nikon D300 105 mm 2 DS160 flash

Hammerhead near turn @ Coco Island

Cocos barnacle blenny... a Cocos Island endemic and rarely seen in pictures... they are everywhere... one of the small wonders of this island... Nikon D300 105 mm macro
Pelagic tunicate colony... never expected to see this in Cocos... first time I see this rare animal... did not see the hammerhead on top until after seeing it on the computer !!!
