North Shore, Oahu Hawaii - turned strobe off for this one. Limited time to shoot.
Yesterdays dive at Haleiwa the Trench on the North Shore of Oahu. Shot at ~70’.
I initially thought the markings to be some type of skin lesion, however after consulting a colleague of the White Tip Reef Foundation, he informed me these nasty looking marks on her gills and pecs are scars from mating bites from male sharks.
Our little friend invites me in to his house.
Hawaiian Bigeye shot with 300D, 55mm. A shot in the dark.
Today's dive. Rough surf...vis pretty good anyway. You just never know what's down under.
Everything is bigger in Thailand.
Today's dive - It's a party. A Mustache Conger Eel with a pair of Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp. There is another fish in the right hand corner...maybe a Scorpionfish?
Sepia tone...Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. Oahu, North Shore.
Out of six days of diving in Thailand, this was the only Turtle we saw.
"Dive Buddies"
Hopw many Shrimp can you count in this photograph?
Who’s observing who? I think they are just as curious about people as we are of them.
Just clowning around.
Cuttlefish…up close and personal.
Guardians of Shipwrecks...the Lionfish.
Some divers always have a camera stuck to their face?
