When spotting a whip coral check the surface of the coral if there is a variation in texture. It will probably be a whip coral shrimp as they are perfectly camouflaged with the coral’s colour and polyp structure.Jan_2024

Lion fish look so elegant & beautiful, it is truly a shame that they do not belong in the Caribbean.
Eagle ray came surprisingly close- perhaps he did not see me in the dark
While shore diving in Bonaire at the dive site Torre's Reef, I was watching a Spotted Cleaning Shrimp jump around a giant anemone. When suddenly the Spotted Cleaning Shrimp jumped on the back of the Juvenile Sharpnose Puffer and went for a ride.
Squid trying to tell me "something" with the color display, my side was the white half, the darker half was near another same colored squid. Amazing!
