This pod of sperm whale were asleep, out of the blue around 50 pilot whales suddenly appeared and began making noise and generally harassing them. (taken under permit)

Spotted cleaner shrimp spotted in the Caribbean Netherland (Curacao). Natural symbiotic relationship between the shrimp and the anemone.

Spotted cleaner shrimp on an anemone. These 2 creatures have a symbiotic relationship, where the shrimp provides parasite removal services and the anemone protects the shrimp from predators.

A small blenny, sticking out of a coral. This tiny creature might be small, but it has a big personality, observing my camera and showcasing it's alien-like face.

Its interesting how some anemones fluoresce under UV light and some don't. this one is one of the brightest that I have seen so far, quite an amazing site!
Mophead
In my study of underwater fluorescence in temperate waters, I can now add the hagfish to my list. Hagfish are ancient jawless fishes which secrete slime that may act to deter predators.
